Sachin Tendulkar is one of the most popular cricketers not just in India but across the World. Nicknamed 'The Little Master' or 'Master Blaster', Tendulkar made his India at a young age of 16 and is credited for many records across all formats of the game. He is the only player to have scored one hundred international tons, first batsman to score a double century in an ODI match, the holder of the record for the number of runs in both ODI and Test cricket, and the only player to complete more than 30,000 runs in international cricket. Sachin has been lauded with Arjuna Award in 1994, Khel Ratna in 1997, Padma Shri in 1998 and Padma Vibhushan (2008) honours. Sachin is the only sportsperson to be conferred the Bharat Ratna in 2013. Sachin Tendulkar retired in 2012 at his home ground of Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He also got his autobiography published called 'Playing it My Way' and been part of numerous philanthropic activities.

One of the most visited countries in the World, Italy is popular for its medieval monuments, Mediterranean coastline, museums and art galleries, cheese, wine and globally loved cuisine. Sachin and Anjali had simply adored the ancient monuments in Rome and Venice. They also visited the Lake Como area in Italy’s lake district, with its panoramic mountain slopes covered in lush greenery and dotted with colourful towns and magnificent villas. They loved their stay at the palatial Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni, overlooking the water from the lake's prettiest town, Bellagio. They also visited a few gorgeous villas built on the banks of the Como lake, a reminder of the renaissance era architecture of Italy.
Kutch in Western India is famous for the Great Rann of Kutch which is a vast salt marsh desert in the middle of the Thar desert. It is also touted as one of the most significant sites of the Indus Valley Civilization. It is a surreal landscape with the vast expanses of the white salt desert and a large wildlife sanctuary as well. During the winters, the Rann Festival is held here in which there are huge camp settlements with cultural programs, dance, music, safari and food extravaganza. One can also visit the beaches of Mandvi located not far away from the Rann of Kutch. Sachin and friends stayed in Kutch at the Serena Resort in Mandvi on a private vacation. They had specially chosen Kutch to watch the super moon, blue moon and lunar eclipse, which look incredible from its vast and other worldly panoramic landscape.
Sachin went for a discreet holiday to the islands of Maldives with his family and was fascinated by the place. These exotic islands surrounded by blue waters and an astounding scenery are the epitome of luxury holidaying. Sachin simply loved the idea of staying at a private island resort with his family and the privacy that comes with it. The resort had access to a wide range of water sports, from snorkelling to scuba diving, water scooters, jet ski and kayaking. The family went for a snorkelling adventure which become their fondest memory of the trip. The idea of being underwater and swim with exotic fish, turtle and unique marine life in their natural habitat is simply out of the world. It is an experience that will de-stress and delight you, at the same time. Sachin found the experience really mesmerizing. The largest & most popular National Park in Rajasthan, Ranthambore provides an opportunity to enjoy a safari holiday in the midst of Rajputana heritage. It’s a fantastic place to spot the royal Asiatic tigers along with various other animals such as leopards, crocodiles, monkeys and sambars.
