Morgot had a fantastic time on her trip to Cancun in Mexico, the Caribbean beach town known for its gorgeous beaches, turquoise clean waters and a plethora of adventure activities. Her most distinct memory of the trip was a tour of the Mayan ruins of Chichén Itzá, one of the 7 Wonders of the World. This ruined Mayan city, spread across 10 sq. kms, was a religious, military, political, and commercial hub at the peak of the ancient Mayan civilization. Made with an incredible knowledge of astronomy, this Mayan city was made to observe celestial events. Touring these ancient ruins was akin to time travel for Morgot. She and her friends also had a fantastic time on a Catamaran cruise from Isla Mujares, where they got an opportunity to try out incredible water activities such as snorkeling and scuba diving, and watched the awesome marine life in the clear blue waters from up close. The Mexican cuisine in Cancun was simply fabulous and they had their heartful of local delicacies such as Tacos al pastor, Chilaquiles, Enchiladas and Tamales.

A trip to Tahiti in French Polynesia was one of Morgot's favourite island vacations of all times. Known for its black sand beaches, lagoons and extinct volcanoes; Tahiti is the most popular island in French Polynesia and attracts celebrities and regulars alike. One can take a catamaran cruise to explore the local islands while enjoying water activities such as snorkeling and scuba diving. A visit to the capital city of Papeete is a must do when visiting Tahiti. This gorgeous city offers many opportunities to shop, dine and party and boasts of an outstanding nightlife. There are high end restaurants serving a variety of cuisine, be it Chinese, Mexican, French or Italian. For shopping enthusiasts, its a fantastic place to pick up black pearls that are procured by local fishermen from the deep sea around Tahiti. While a vacation to Tahiti does not come cheap, it is one of the most exotic islands and offers a luxury experience that is well worth spending your money for.

Vanuatu is another island destination recommended by Morgot as a vacation hotspot. This South Pacific nation is made up of 80 islands and offer an array water activities such as scuba diving at coral reefs and underwater caverns. One can also explore snorkeling in the clear waters swimming close to the the turtles, an ethereal adventure in itself. Given the fact that it is less commercial and crowded as compared to neighboring Fiji, Vanuata is a great option if you are looking for privacy and serenity on your holiday. Kayaking down the gently flowing freshwater river of Rantepao was a memorable experience for Morgot and her friends. The river is surrounded by lush tropical forest and the views are simply astounding. Vanuata is also a great place to explore local aboriginal cultures and mix with locals in their villages such as Larofa village. One can experience traditional local practices and skills including dancing and an amazing fire-walking display by the local tribesmen.

For a wine enthusiast that Robbie is, a visit to the Napa Valley in California was indeed a dream come true. One of the world's premier wine regions boasting more than 400 wineries, Napa Valley attracts millions of wine lovers each year. One can stroll through the vineyards, have a chat with the winemakers, or sip award-winning Napa Valley wines with astounding views of the area. A real classic excursion in Napa Valley is riding aboard the vintage train that takes one across the Napa Valley. Guests aboard the Gourmet Express experience both dining and lounge service, with some courses of the gourmet meal served in each car. Fresh California gourmet meals are crafted by the chef and his passionate culinary team as one travel backs in time on this century old train with antique cars that are designed to give you a real taste of the American country life. If you are a wine enthusiast, take a guided tour of the local wineries to discover the art of wine making, California style.

When it comes to visiting an exotic place for a vacation, Greenland is right up the alley. One of the most sparsely populated islands on the planet, this natural wonderland is known for its icebergs and glaciers, green mountains with beautiful wildflowers, breathtaking fjords, wild cliffs, hot springs, crystal-clear skies, and clean air. Wildlife lovers will have a field day watching exotic species of animals from up close, such as the seals, whales, polar bears, and reindeer. Since there are hardly any road networks in Greenland, the best way to travel around is by boat, airplane, sled, or snowmobile. One of her most memorable experiences for Robbie was cruising around icebergs and watching whales in their natural environment. The scenic panorama and close encounter with some of the most exotic species of marine life are simply ethereal. Greenland is also a great place to witness the Northern Lights - the greatest light show on earth. Winters are typically the best time to witness the spectacular natural phenomena of aurora borealis in Greenland.
