As Emily Wang in Clean, her most recent leading performance, she became the first Asian actress to win an award at the Cannes Film Festival. She co - starred with Jackie Chan in the renowned television series - Police Story. Her debut as a worldwide celebrity occurred with Zhang Yimou's epic historical fantasy "Hero" (2004), which revealed Cheung to an international audience as a brilliant Asian actress.

France is one of Maggie's favourite holiday hotspots, Paris being her favourite European metropolis. An epicenter of art & fashion, Paris is a gorgeous city located on the banks of river Siene and amongst the most visited cities in the World. Home to incredible historical monuments such as the Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame cathedral and the Eiffel tower, Paris also offers modern day attractions such as the DisneyWorld Resort, Europe's largest amusement park. Maggie spent an evening cruising on the Siene river, sipping outstanding french wine and enjoying delicious French gourmet food, as the cruise passed by illuminated monuments and landmarks scattered across the banks. Another incredible excursion she absolutely loved was a day trip to the World Heritage–listed island village of Mont-Saint-Michel, the iconic UNESCO listed islands. Visiting this island village was like traveling back to medieval times, its architecture and walkways are reminiscent of the Roman era. Visit the church at the top and relax at a plethora of restaurants and bars in the village for truly enriching trip

Maggie spent a few days in Barcelona and across the Spanish Riviera on her last vacation in Spain. Popular for its soccer team - FC Barcelona - the iconic city is also known for its rich arts, culture and architecture scene. One of Maggie's most memorable evenings in Barcelona was watching a traditional flamenco dance show in a historic tablao, while enjoying delicious Spanish cuisine and local beers. Flamenco is a Spanish dance form based on local folklore traditions of the Gypsies of Southern Spain and a performance worth a watch on your next trip to Spain. Maggie had the time of her life on the gorgeous beaches of the Spanish Riviera towns of Costa de Sol, Valencia and Mallorca. Known for their idyllic lifestyle and incredible scenic beauty, the Spanish Riviera is a popular vacation hotspot for celebrities and regular visitors. For those willing to spend, a Yatch ride around the Mediterranean hopping islands & seaside towns can be an ultimate adventure.

The glamorous city of Dubai in the UAE also makes it to Maggie's list of vacation ideas. Dubai is an ultra-modern city and a major commercial hub in the region. With ocean on one side and desert on the other, the landscape is versatile and offers an incredible variety in tourism opportunities. A stay in the iconic Burj-Al-Arab, amongst the finest hotels in the World, was quite a charm. She also had a great time visiting the Arabian desert on a full day excursion, indulging in Jeep and camel safaris, riding an ATV and finally enjoying an authentic Arabian meal in the evening accompanied by belly dance performances on scintillating Arabian numbers. Dubai being a melting pot of cultures, also offers a wide variety of cuisine and has incredible bars & clubs that add to its glimmering nightlife. Taking a Yatch cruise off the Dubai Marina is also a great way to explore the panoramic beauty of this city and its surrounding areas such as the Palm Jumeriah.

Maggie rates Thailand as one of her most loved destinations and has frequented the country many times. Her favored destination in Thailand is Hua Hin. With its beautiful, powdery sand beach, seaside Seafood joints, a lively night market and a host of excursions, Hua Hin is a laid back beach town popular with locals as well as foreigners visiting Thailand. Phuket is another place to enjoy the incredible waters of Thailand. Offering a wide variety of water sports activities and a host of high end resorts for a luxury vacation, Phuket is the most loved beach destination in Thailand. Snorkeling in the marine rich waters of Phi Phi Islands was as enjoyable for Maggie as was lazing around on the Patong beach. She also loved visiting the coastal Nature Park of Sirinat, largely made up of marine areas and pristine beaches.

Maggie fell in love with Greece on her first trip to the Mediterranean. Its blue water beaches, unique architecture, scenic panorama and delicious cuisine create a combination that makes Greece a global favorite for honeymooners and families. Santorini is inarguably the most exotic of its islands. Formed by a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago, the topography and panoramic beauty of this place is outlandish. An excellent way to explore its charm & panorama is to take a catamaran cruise that takes you island hopping out in the Mediterranean sea. Enjoyo Santorini wine and Greek beer, plus a Greek meal prepared on board, as you snorkel, deep dive or take a dip into the relaxing hot springs by Nea Kameni volcano. Santorini also has 3 wine estates that are open for tourists looking to savor the taste of Greek wines and local Greek delicacies. Staying in a local Greek home that overlooks the Mediterranean is a truly exceptional experience one can have while in Santorini.
