In 2010, he portrayed mentally handicapped youngster Shuhei in "Rinne no Ame," a drama that earned Fuji TV's 21st Best Young Screenwriter Award, and Yuta, the captain of a male-tumbling squad in "Tumbling." In NHK's Taiga Drama "Princess Go," he portrayed the valiant young samurai Mori Ranmaru, opposite Etsushi Toyokawa as Nobunaga Oda. As Takanori Ando, he also appeared in Sadako 3D, a sequel to the "Ring" film series.

Koji had a fantastic time on his holiday in Malaysia. Known for its incredible beaches, islands and rainforests, Malaysia attracts millions of tourists each year. Its wildly successful marketing campaign with the punchline "Malaysia - Truly Asia" has put it prominently on the Global tourist map. Langkawi is the most popular beach destination in Malaysia, offering a wide range of accommodation options from high end luxury resorts to economy homestays. One can enjoy a wide variety of water sports in Langkawi, such as snorkeling, jet ski riding and scuba diving. An excursion worth taking is a boat ride across the mangrove forests on the Kilim river, where one gets to see native wildlife in their natural habitat such as monkeys, birds and hornbills and pass through the caves inside the forests. A highly recommended excursion is a visit to the Taman Negara National Park to witness one of the oldest rainforests in the world.

The Big Apple makes it to the top of Koji's travel list. New York's iconic landmarks include the Statue of Liberty, Broadway, Wall Street, UN Headquarters, Central Park and its downtown area of Manhattan. Highly multi-cultural with an incredible nightlife, arts & music scene, coupled with mountains and ocean in its vicinity, New York has no dearth of options to keep oneself occupied. Take a ferry to the Ellis Island and visit the Statue of Liberty, a symbol of freedom erected to welcome the immigrants to the New land. Check out the various Broadway musicals & shows, popular amongst them being the Lion King, Aladdin and Phantom of the Opera. Koji has been pub hopping in NYC and found it truly out of the World. There is so much diversity in food, music and ambience, it feels like time travel.

Koji had a fantastic time on his maiden visit to Sanya recently. Sanya is China's most popular beach destination known for its white sand beaches, clear blue waters, rugged mountain ranges and some of the most luxurious & gigantic beach resorts and hotels that are modern architectural marvels. Sanya has a well developed beach tourism sector and offers a wide variety of fun activities for tourists, be it kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, jet ski rides or cruises. Visit the Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Park to get a glimpse into China's glorious Buddhist heritage. The Sanya Romance Park, an amusement park that exhibits lights and laser shows as well as live performances by Chinese artists, is totally worth a visit. The Lost Chambers Aquarium, conceptualized to showcase the mysteries of the ancient city of Atlantis, is another favour excursion for visitors to Sanya.

Koji found Iceland a place that is literally out of this World. A landscape so unique, filled with volcanoes, geysers and lava fields, it almost feels like another planet. A fantastic place to explore the Northern Lights phenomena, this supernatural wonder attracts millions of tourists to Iceland to get a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis. Iceland is popular for another incredible natural wonder - Crystal Ice Caves. Formed inside glaciers, these icy caves look like they are made of crystal, akin to a set straight out of a Hollywood science fiction movie. Iceland is also a fantastic place to witness exotic marine life. Take a cruise from Reykjavik to explore the stunning landscapes and get close to a variety of marine animals such as whales, dolphins, porpoises etc. in the icy waters of the Artic. Reykjavik itself is a fantastic place to enjoy an outstanding nightlife and its downtown area is filled with bars, restaurants and cafes.

A Cruise journey to Alaska with his close friends was the most memorable experience for Koji. Alaska is a land of wilderness, vast expansive national parks, lakes and fjords. It is another popular destination to witness the Northern lights phenomena. Taking a tour of the Chugach National Forest, Beluga Point, Portage Glacier, and more to spot brown bears, wolves, bison, and other wild animals was the highlight of the trip for Koji's travel party and the most enjoyable experience on land. Visiting the Matanuska Glacier, Alaska's largest glacier accessible by road, was another mind blowing experience. the glacier is created out of ice that formed thousands of years ago high in the Chugach Mountains and the idea of walking on this icy terrain amidst a spectacular landscape is simply out of the World. if you can afford one, a helicopter ride on the Chugach mountains is another mind blowing way to witness the magnificence of Alaska.
