India is more of a congregation of countries than a single country in itself. Charlize had an opportunity to the Southern state of Kerala, also known as 'God's own country' for its exquisite natural beauty, a network of waterways, mouth watering cuisine and a glorious heritage. Charlize thoroughly enjoyed her stay on a luxury houseboat floating around the backwaters of Kerala, enjoying the lush palm-fringed landscape, diverse wildlife, and local villages lining them. This journey takes one back in time as the nature is as pristine as it comes and one gets to witness a lifestyle that has not changed drastically in hundreds of years. Kerala is also home to many Ayurvedic spas and resorts, given its abundant supply of medicinal plants. One can book any one of their offered treatments, like an oil massage or Shirodhara, a relaxing treatment that involves dripping warm oil onto the forehead that's used to treat insomnia, tinnitus, neurological disorders, and psoriasis. A truly unique experience, Kerala is a paradise where one can relax and rejuvenate with a refreshing getaway.
