Amr Diab is an Egyptian singer who is revered as the 'Father of Mediterranean Music. He has developed his own musical style, which is a combination of western and Egyptian rhythms. His songs have been translated into seven languages and performed by musicians worldwide. Amr Diab joined the musical scene in 1983 with the release of his debut album, "Ya Tareea," blended with the public, and received a great deal of popularity. Amr subsequently released other excellent albums, including "Ghanny Men Albak" (1984), "Hala Hala" (1986), "Khalseen" (1987), "Mayyal" (1988), "Shawa'na" (1989), and "Matkhafsh" (1990). Diab's "Amarain" album was one of his most successful blockbuster smashes (1999) He is the only Middle Eastern performer to have received seven World Music Awards over the years. Staying at a luxury lodge in the wilderness of the Masai Mara National Park, Amr and his friends ventured deep into the forest the witness the Big 5 African animals from up close and take incredible pictures and videos. One of his most scintillating experience was going up in a hot air balloon at the Masai Mara. Though it was scary at first, the views from the top were simply out of the World and the feel was extra ordinary. They also visited the Giraffe centre in Nairobi to have a close look at this exotic African animal. When it comes to a Safari holiday, Kenya is second to none and Amr will love to go for another Safari adventure here, this time also covering the neighbouring Tanzania.

Amr had a lovely vacation with his ex-wife Zeina Ashour in the gorgeous islands of Mauritius off the east coast of Africa. Known for its idyllic beaches, luxury resorts, golf courses and National parks; Mauritius is one of the most popular island destinations in the Indian ocean. They rented a catamaran cruise to go island hopping and get a close look at the marine life; an experience that was the highlight of their Mauritius trip. One gets to see dolphins, turtles and whales in the turquoise blue waters as one cruises along from one island to the other. A visit to the Casela Wildlife Park was a great opportunity to appreciate the local wildlife of the island - tortoises, deer, fish ponds, lions, tigers and monkeys to name a few. The capital city of Port Louis with its incredible architecture, plethora of bars & restaurants and a vibrant multi-cultural population is worth spending quality time during your holidays to the island.

Amr Diab has performed in Beirut, capital of Lebanon, for various concerts. The Egyptian singer has a large fan following in Lebanon.
