The City Council of the City of Wroclaw in Poland named a Square after Amitabh's father - Lt Harivanshrai Bachchan. Amitabh was in Poland for the ceremony and loved the hospitality showered upon him during his visit. Poland is a historical country with a stunning geography, from the Tatra mountains to the Baltic Sea. Its architecturally rich monuments such as the Lazienki Park Palace in Warsaw, Malbork Castle, Wawel Royal Castle in Krakow and many more are worthy of admiration. A natural wonder of Poland is the the Crooked Forest, where a number of pine trees stand on their own, growing with a 90-degree angle at their base, all bent northward. It is not clear whether this is a natural phenomena or created artificially, but the forest is quite a sight. Poland is a fantastic place to try European cuisine and is overall a much affordable destination as compared to its counterparts in Western Europe.
