The exotic islands of Maldives is a favourite vacation hotspot for Adhir Kalyan. An epitome of luxury, Maldives has some of the most incredible luxury resorts that occupy an island by themselves. Serene white sand beaches of Maldives are a huge draw for honeymooners and couples. For those in the mood for adventure, there is no dearth of activities to keep you occupied. Try out scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, underwater scooters, para-sailing or water skiing; the list goes on. One of Adhir's favourite excursions was a catamaran ride exploring the various islands in the area. Sailing the blue waters partying on the deck of these incredible boats is a mesmerizing experience. If you are willing to spend, take a seaplane ride across the archipelago, the views are simply out of the World and the photos you take are guaranteed to make you a rage on social media.

France is Adhir's favourite country in Europe and he has wonderful memories of traveling to various parts of France. He loves both Paris and the Riviera, and finds both of them charming for their own reasons. Paris, being the glamourous city that it is, is simply outstanding in his opinion. The nightlife is phenomenal and the fashion scene is a real draw. Its various cafes, clubs and restaurants along side the Siene river are perfect places to simply relax, unwind and enjoy the weather. Adhir has lovely memories of his travel to the French Riviera, specifically Monte Carlo and Nice. The idyllic beaches, panoramic landscapes and the vast blue Mediterranean sea make the perfect backdrop for a romantic getaway. There is no better way to explore the Riviera than by hiring a yacht and go island hopping, while enjoying mouth watering local delicacies and enjoying water excursions along the way.

Adhir has an emotional connect with India given his ancestral roots. He has traveled to India multiple times and finds it a fascinating country. One of his favourite places in India is the princely state of Rajasthan, known for its Rajputana heritage. Rajasthan attracts millions of tourists each year who come to see the Palaces and Museums of Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur, the sand dunes of Jaisalmer and the wilderness of Ranthambore National Park, home to the Royal Bengal tigers, Indian leopards, spotted deers, sambar, wild boars and a variety of exotic birds. The Majestic Amer Fort in Jaipur is a masterpiece of Rajput architecture and one can explore the fort on an elephant decorated in a royal style. The lake city of Udaipur is simply outstanding; the jewel in its crown being the Lake Palace hotel located in the middle of the lake Pichola. Converted into an ultra luxury resort, this monument made of white marble was built in 1746 and provides for a fairy tale like experience. For those looking to experience the vast Indian desert, take a trip to Jaisalmer where you can stay in luxury tents on the sand dunes and go for camel rides into the desert.

Kenya is a dream come true for wildlife enthusiasts. Adhir has loved his wildlife Safari adventures in the Kenyan wilderness, a Safari holiday that is second to none; in his opinion. The famous Great Migration where millions of wildbeast cross the jungles of Masai Mara as an annual ritual is one of the most dramatic sites to watch in the natural world. Adhir and his friends decided to witness this phenomena from up in the air in a hot air balloon - a sight that is so mesmerizing that it is difficult to describe it in words. Staying in a Safari lodge outside the wildlife park was an incredible experience. For bird watchers, a visit to the lake Naivasha is a must. One gets to see over 400 varieties of exotic birds including the iconic flamingoes, which make the lake appear pink with their sheer numbers. Kenya is one of the best places in Africa to watch the big cats from up close, be it the African lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Panthers or the Jaguars.

Traveling to Egypt is akin to traveling back in time. The country is also called the Cradle of Western Civilization and is home to some of the most ancient monuments known to man. Adhir considers his tour of Egypt as one of his most remarkable vacations. Be it the colossal Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, Luxor's hieroglyph-lined Karnak Temple or the Valley of the Kings tombs; there is no dearth of iconic ancient landmarks in this desert country. One of his favourite memories in Egypt was taking a 5 star cruise on the Nile river from Luxor to Aswan. The cruise provides a glimpse of Egypt's iconic monuments, as one gets to visit the various temples that fall along the way. Cairo is a fantastic city to shop around for artifacts and relics from bygone eras. One should take a visit to the Egyptian museum here, housing colossal statues spanning thousands of years as well as fossils, paintings and ancient Egyptian maps. Beach lovers should include Sharm el-Sheikh in their itinerary, the most popular beach resort town in Egypt, located between the sandy desert of the Sinai Peninsula and the blue waters of the Red Sea.
